Banksy artwork

Girl with a Pierced Eardrum

Hanover Place, near Albion Dockyard, Bristol

The final artwork is a harbour-side detour before The Orchard Inn. The security alarm takes the place of the pearl earring in this reinterpretation of Vermeer. View from public space and check current access around the dockyard.

8

Finish on Hanover Place

The Orchard Inn

The Orchard Inn, 12 Hanover Pl, Bristol BS1 6XT
The Orchard Inn in Bristol

The multi award winning Orchard Inn is best known for its extensive range of West Country ciders and real ales, weekly blues jam and doorstop sandwiches.

  • Craft ales

Why stop here?

Finish with a pub on Hanover Place after Girl with a Pierced Eardrum. Its cider and real-ale focus makes a different final stop from the earlier craft and Belgian bars.

Follow the art, then finish with a pub.

  1. Steam Stokes Croft, Mild Mild West and Froth & Fries form the first part of the walk.
  2. Continue to Well Hung Lover and The Hatchet Inn, then Small Bar on King Street.
  3. For the full route, walk towards Hanover Place for Girl with a Pierced Eardrum, then finish at The Orchard Inn.
  4. For a shorter route, finish at Small Bar after two artworks. Use the walking links to choose pedestrian directions; the harbour leg makes this longer than the King Street crawl.

Before you go

Plan to see the outdoor artwork in daylight and check pub opening days before leaving. This is a self-guided walk, not a booked or official Banksy tour. Street art can be altered and access can change; the linked local guide provides more information.

Pub details come from the First Orders directory. Check current hours and music listings through each venue’s full page.
